Chimneys should be swept as follows:
- Smokeless: once a year
- Bitumous coal: at least once a year
- Wood: quarterly (when in use)
- Oil: once a year
- Gas: once a year
Sooty Side Linings can provide a chimney sweep service to meet any of your needs. We are registered with the National Association of Chimney Sweeps and perform chimney cleaning to British Standards 6461: Part 1 and 7566: Parts 1-4.
We can issue certificates. Performing an excellent job is paramount to us and we can offer you professional chimney sweeping and well as technical expertise for the safe operation and maintenance of chimneys.
Sooty Side Linings covers all areas and we are fully insured.
